Hello.

i face exactly the same issue.
i got the code via ss ip tv app. on the TV and added it to playlist editor.
Then uploaded a channel link by using playlist editor in external playlist.
and go back to TV and refresh the page of SS ip tv app and saw the channel folder.
entered it and wait around 1 min then black display, restart and start the TV again.
since the link is still in the playlist, TV could not open SS ip tv application, restart itself again.
then i go to playlist editor and delete the channel, save and disconnect. then ss ip tv worked on smart hub again.

why i got restart?
there was around 990 channels, is that too much for D series ? or how many pcs it should be you guys recommend?

I am using SSI PTV on my Samsung D series.
But since saturday (17 November 2018), I open SSIPTV, I am waiting for channels list. Loading appears.
After couple of minutes tv shut down itself. I can not open SS IPTV.
Is there any solution you may advise.
