External playlist with Links cannot be displayed

Post by ffmer111 »

Hello internal playlist can show external links but external playlist cannot display links.
Is there a problem with your server since a few days?

Here is a example of my .m3u-File:

#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:0 channelId="91" tvg-logo="http://###.gif" , Item 1
http://###
.....

As I said before....internal playlist works, external not (I didnt change anything in syntax of m3u-File).
Please check the behaviour of your server.

Hi,

You have to use CORS for external playlists. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross-ori ... ce_sharing)
This is an LG's rule for applications in store.

Description:
http://ss-iptv.com/en/providers/27-connecting-to-pafs

Please check.

"...It is important to remember that cross-domain requests are forbidden on LG Smart TVs, so the loading will be realized not by a client device itself, but by the app's server. It means, the link to the file has to be available from the external network (or for the app's server at least)."

The link to the file is available from the external network (download from external webserver). So I didn't change anything (so why should be CORS activated?, even I am not the administartor of the webserver and have no privileges to change the settings). A few days before everything worked fine. I think you have to check the configuration on your app server since i didnt change anything the last days.

I don't understand what you mean 'show external links'

To your question: With external link I mean that http-streaming-links in my .m3u-playlist.

So again: Your last build in the SS IPTV App on my LG TV is from 2016-03-04 02:23:26.
Since this version I cannot open my playlist from external webserver. No objects can be displayed.
Before this version everything worked fine. What did you change with this implementation?

I don't understand why you call http-streaming links 'external links'. So what are 'internal links' in your terms?

When user with webOS TV presses "Disagree" button in EULA nothing happened before, now lauch bar appears. This was the only change we made and I'm absolutely sure it's not related to your problem

Here is an example of my .m3u-File:

#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:0 channelId="91" tvg-logo="http://###.gif" , Item 1
http://### ...

I put it on an external webserver.
I didnt change anything, but it doesnt work anymore.
How can I install a previous version of your SS IPTV App or can you please rollback to previous version (I am sure it works afterwards)?
If I upload it manually via your Website with the code.... everything works fine. It must be a problem with your app server and the implementation change.

Best regards....

You cannot install any other version than which one you have.
What means 'doesn't work anymore'? How does it look? What errors you see?
