need help with Parental Controls

Post by emmi007 »

Hi, im trying to add channels to the parental controls list, but the channels that i add has a "open lock" and not "closed lock" as the default channels.

how can i change this, so that the channels that i add will be locked.?
and is there any way to add "wildecard" so when adding lets says XXX as a channel name, it then blockes all the channels that have XXX in the name?

"closed lock" means that the channel cannot be removed from the list of the parental control, nothing more. These channels are preset.
"open lock" means that the channel has been added by user and may be removed from the list.
The app blockes both type of channels the same way.

Yes but I add the channel to the list and I put the password, but anyone can remove the channel only by clicking on the channel it disappears and does not even need the password, it has to fix this bug.

There is no bug. No changes in Parental Controls section may be applied without entering PIN, so nobody can remove the channel from that list without PIN

Then test after adding the channel to the list, anyone can delete the channel from the list just by clicking the channel without typing a password. Here I tested and did not type the password and I was able to remove the channel that I include myself, this does not apply To previously blocked channels in the application.

Hi,
in my case the issue is still there, the channels with open lock can be deleted without typing a password and is not asking for password at all when selecting the cannel from the list.
Could it be that in my case, is not a channel but another list, I am trying to protect? Also I am using LOCKED as the name.
