SS IPTV

Hi,

I have an LG 47LA660V-ZA that I have installed SS IPTV on, I am having difficulty loading external TV streams, the streams aren't really external as they come from a VBOX iptv streamer on my own network.

This is the vbox

The vbox publishes a set of m3u files, Standard m3u8, SimpleIPTV.m3u8 and standard m3u. To be honest I have no idea what the differences are but the vbox publishes them at http://192.168.1.70:55555/vboxSimpleIptv.m3u8 for example.

I have tried all three variants and they all produce a fully populated set of tiles/stations, 50 from the example listed. But when I click on a tile/station it tries to load but almost immediately goes to connection lost. However, even at that stage I get a full playlist with a program guide, so I'm reasonably sure I've got a working setup.

I've attached the m3u file produced by my vbox and wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction.

The m3u file opens and plays in VLC without any problem.

The vbox runs linux, I was wondering if it is just a formatting issue maybe ???

Thanks for the speedy reply, my Vbox has a web server at http://192.168.1.70 and the m3u files are published there. To load it into SS IPTV I used the external playlist (option 5) to load the full path of

http://192.168.1.70:55555/vboxSimpleIptv.m3u8

Once I save it the Vbox is available on the home page of SS IPTV, I can then click on the vbox folder icon and then get taken to a page loaded with all my channels and icons from the m3u file.

I should have added that the sample channels provided with SS IPTV work and stream their content

Do you understand the difference between playlist URL and stream URL?
M3u8 basically is an extension of usual hls stream. IT IS NOT a playlist. So it looks strange that you try to use stream URL like playlist URL.
Furthermore I still don't understand what exactly doesn't work in your case. It would be better if you could make video with your issue

Same problem.
On my lg 42ln655v it loads playlist from vbox fine.
I saw channel names.
But ssiptv cannot open stream from vbox dvb-t2 stream.

At the same time tv itself open this streams via dlna without any issue.

Inside m3u files loaded into ssiptv links to stream looks like:

In my case problem was lenght of useragent when using ssiptv.
Other side cannot work correctly when it was very long.

If someone else have same issue, ask vbox support for firmware at least: 2.59.30.1 - i have it and its works fine now in my env.

fix all problems in programs ss iptv
When using a server like this m3u or ts it does that
When using m3u8 or hls, there is no problem
I want to watch iptv on m3u with complete stability without repeated connection to the server
There is a sound problem that precedes the image in ss iptv
Is there a solution to these problems for me?
