Hi,
I have a Sony Smart TV with Linux running SS IPTV with VEWD. I'm using an external playlist and it provides with some movies in different languages, however, even if I select the subtitle track, it don't show.
Is there something I can do in order to have the subtitles shown?
Thanks,

Re: SUBTITLES FROM EXTERNAL PLAYLIST
VEWD devices do not support cross origin request. You cannot use external subtitles on VEWD TV unless the server with subtitles hosted meets CORS requirements.

Hello, I think I have the same issue but dont really understand the answer... I have an IPTV provider that also provides VOD, those movies are on .mp4 extension and have subtitles on them that do work with VLC for example... but even though I choose them on the SSIPTV APP they wont show up... It does work if I change the language... only the subtiitles are not working.
Thank you, Great app!
