I would like to know if there is going to be an alternative to http://app.ss-iptv.com/ I used this page to test my playlist settings (color, size, EPG sync, etc). It would be very handy because I also cloud test whether a stream would be playable in my TV with the app or not.

Ok, I had to put the files inside a folder named ssiptv, turn on the the TV with the usb flash drive attached and it worked. However, how can I install it again, i.e., use the app without having the usb flash drive attached? Also, the app icon is not shown.

So, what can be done about it? Samsung users cannot do anything but wait until the app be available again? Is not there a different approach to get the app working?
