Subtitles not working

Post by m33ts4k0z »

Hello,

Just installed SSIPTV and it's working great. The problem that I have is that on the channels where the subs are selectable and in DVBSUB format, they are not working.

I can select the subtitle when watching the channel but they are still not displaying.

I can watch the subs normally on VLC on my computer using the same playlist.

Now I know that DVBSUB is a bit special format but there must be a way to display them on a Samsung TV. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance :)

This is a limitation of Samsung TVs. There is nothing that can be done from within the app to make them work unfortunately. They do work on LG(WebOS 2.0 upwards) TVs though.

I guess, it may be our app's issue.

Any updates for this? Since there is option to choose subtitles on DVB but not working..still. Also it would be great to add EPG via external list. I have over 6k tv channel epg listings automated.
