SS IPTV

Hello everyone,

I have private iptv server, that server has some 4K channels. I can watch 1080p, 720p and other lower resolution channels without problem. However i cant watch 4K channels only voice. I mean there is voice but not image on 4K channels.

Channel formats: m3u
Television: Vestel 4K Smart TV (55UB9100S)
Platform: VEWD

The support of 4K depends on the HW and vendor.

We don't have the TV which you are using.
We may only suggest you to use DASH or HLS for content streaming.

Merhaba, 4K kanallarda ses var görüntü yok. Örneğin trt 4k'da ses geliyor ama görüntü gelmiyor. (Kanal çözünürlüğü 2560 x 1440)

Onun haricinde 1080p (1920 x 1080 çözünürlük) kanallarda hiç bir sıkıntı yaşamıyorum.

Televizyonum Vestel Smart 4K 55UB9100S yani 4K uyumlu.

Aynı serverı Vestel üretimi olan JVC 4K tv'de denediğimde onda görüntü yakalıyor.

m3u dosyası içerisindeki örnek server linkin şu şekilde:

first of all what does HW mean? Vendor supports 4K because resolution of the channel is 2560 x 1440.

I am using Vestel 4K TV which has the same software with JVC.

How can i convert m3u8 to DASH or HLS?

Here you may see the different levels of encoding / decoding capabilities.
TVs usually have partially support of the levels. Some of them will work, some not.

Some models of Sony (Linux), LG supports 4k only via DASH.

You may try to stream the DASH content via FFMPEG:

The following example without transcoding:


Please note, you have to know which profiles are supported on your TV (h.264/h.265, levels) and transcode the stream to see the picture, in some cases.

I read user manual of my TV and it includes:

Video Code: H.264
Resolution: 3840x2160@30fps,
1080P@60fps
Bit rate: 135Mbps
Container: FLV (.flv), MP4 (.mp4, .mov), 3GPP (.3gpp, .3gp), MPEG transport stream (.ts, .trp, .tp), ASF (.asf), AVI (.avi), MKV (.mkv)

as you said h.264 profile is supported on my TV.

What is the next stage to solve 4K issue?

What about your stream with the issue?

Because of the fact that the video format is h.265, can i not watch the 4k iptv on my tv?

Yes, lack of the h.265 support is the reason of the black screen.
