SS IPTV

Hello all,

Using SS-IPTV for some time and think it's on of the better ones on the WebOS platform of LG. I have two questions about the EPG functions of SS-IPTV, couldn't find the right answers on the forum:

1). How do I know which channelname I should use to get EPG? For example, I'm having no EPG for the Dutch NGC. A lot of other channels are working fine though.

2). I can't find out how to get extended EPG information about a program. Which button or series of buttons should I use?

1. The main requirement is channels must have correct names. The channel with the name NGC doesn't exist, here you can find its real name https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_ ... V_channel)
2. "extended EPG" if you mean description for TV Shows is always copyrighted, so you won't find it in our app.

UPD.: I've checked, we have EPG for dutch National Geographic Channel HD, it is the same as for National Geographic Channel, I guess - so we've just fixed it. Now you can see EPG for both (SD and HD) versions.

1) That's exactly my question! Where can I find the CORRECT names that the EPG of SS-IPTV uses?

2) Are you sure? All other IPTV apps have the possibility to see the full program description.

//edit2// National Geographic Channel is not giving the correct EPG. It's giving EPG info, but not for the Dutch National Geographic Channel. Doesn't matter if it's National Geographic Channel or National Geographic Channel HD..

1) You can find them in Wikipedia
2) Yes, I'm absolutely sure. And I don't care about the legality of other apps only about ours.

What country code is set in your app's settings?

1) Wikipedia is a big site. Can you give a link where I can find it? Or do you mean that we have to search for each channel on wiki and hope that's the right name?

2) Such a pity! This would make your app perfect. Would pay for it too.

3) Language code is "NL". Also Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, etc give wrong EPG info now....

I see the problem for National Geographic, we'll fix it later.
As far as I can see, EPG for Animal Planet is correct
We do not have Dutch EPG for Discovery Channel, so you see American version.

EPG is wrong for:

National Geographic Channel HD
Nat Geo Wild HD
Animal Planet HD
Discovery Channel HD (yes, you had Dutch EPG. Only not working now anymore... //edit// this one working again!)

The correct name for Veronica is Veronica but we don't have EPG for it.
