I've downloaded latest version of "SS-Iptv" app on my LG 32LM6300 from LG content store but i'm unable to load my m3u file from any usb stick.
My LG tv has 2 usb ports, if i connect any usb stick to the port just under the CI slot "home dashboard" shows it as "USB 1";
if the same usb stick is plugged to the other port it's shown as "USB 2" even if port1 has no usb stick connected to it.
First i've formatted the usb stick by clicking on "format" while i was inside "home dashboard", then i plugged it to my pc.
Here i checked what type of formatting my tv had done and i've found that it changed to "fat32" (before formatting it was "ntfs").
Then i loaded on it my playlist file called "test.m3u" and then i reconnected it to my LG tv.
test.m3u was saved using utf-8 and it looks as follows (works fine on pc with vlc)
Code: Select all
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:-1, channel 1
http://xyz.com:80/user/pass/101
#EXTINF:-1, channel 2
http://xyz.com:80/user/pass/102
#EXTINF:-1, channel 3
http://xyz.com:80/user/pass/103

i tried all the following addresses in "external playlist (1/5)":
usb://test.m3u
USB://test.m3u
If connected to usb port1 (just under CI slot):
usb1://test.m3u
USB1://test.m3u
usb 1://test.m3u
USB 1://test.m3u
If connected to usb port2:
usb2://test.m3u
USB2://test.m3u
usb 2://test.m3u
USB 2://test.m3u
But no luck at all !
Always the same error: "Failed to load remote content"
I tried 2 other usb sticks but problem was still there !
I have no problem if i try to watch videos from usb. I even tried to copy satellite channel list from tv to usb and all was fine.
So there is communication between my usb sticks and lg tv, it looks like it's just an issue related to "SS-Iptv" app.
Where am i doing wrong ?
Do you guys have any idea how can i load m3u list from usb stick ?
