Unable to play certain m3u8 URLs (stream stops without playing)

Hey, I haven't found any open or closed topic about this issue that I could relate to, so decided to open a new one.

I'm having trouble watching some sport streams on my LG TV with the newest WebOS 6.0 and the newest SS IPTV app.
The URLs are 100% working, because I also have a LG projector with older WebOS and SS IPTV app and they work just fine.
Both devices use the same WiFi network (so it's not about ISP blocking anything or so).

On the TV what I get is it starts to load, then for a blink "stop" icon appears and it goes back to "play" button. Nothing else happens, no error messages, blank screen.
